🍫 Satisfy your sweet tooth with the best brownie recipes

Hey friend,

I have been cooking up a storm this summer, way more than normal. My kids and I are still living in our tiny rental house while our real house is being rebuilt (after a devastating fire). My "office" was in my bedroom at home, but here, the only place big enough to put my computer was the kitchen table. So I'm in the middle of the kitchen action all day, every day.

Anyway, all that to say, if you want to cook more, set up your workstation in the kitchen. It will happen naturally. 🤣

I wasn't intending to tell you all that. The real reason I'm writing this morning is to share brownie recipes.

I love brownies so much.

They're easy to make. They travel well. Everyone loves them. And they satisfy even the fiercest sweet tooth!

Here are my favorite brownie recipes:

  • Cocoa powder brownies - I created this recipe during the lockdown when we weren't allowed to go to the grocery store. I had everything I needed to make them already in my pantry, and I bet you do too. This is by far my favorite brownie recipe because they're simple, quick, and easy. Also, my kids devour them.
  • Turtle brownies - These are so crazy indulgent that you won't be able to eat more than one. They're basically a thick layer of caramel sandwiched between two layers of rich chocolate brownies. So good.
  • Peanut butter cheesecake brownies - The name says it all. Fudgy brownies topped with a layer of peanut butter cheesecake. They're easier than you might think to make and soooo delicious.
  • Microwave brownie in a mug - This is my younger daughter's creation. A couple of easy ingredients plus a big mug and a minute in the microwave equals a chocolatey treat that will satisfy your craving without needing to make (and eat) a whole batch of brownies.

If you're going to take your brownies on the road, I really like the 8x8 and 9x13 pans in this set because they have lids that make them super easy to travel with.
